Rev. Cindy Yamamoto

A lover of life, of God, of Truth and of all people, Rev Cindy Yamamoto enjoys being of service and sharing the messages Spirit inspires in her.

Rev Cindy entered the formal Ministerial and Religious Studies program through Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institution in 2017, and on June 15, 2020 she completed her Masters of Divinity and officially become a Licensed and Ordained Unity Minister.

Upon her first visit to a Unity church, Rev Cindy, as many people do, felt at home.  She immediately immersed herself in Unity teachings, often attending classes several days a week.  The more she learned, the more she was compelled to share. Her desire to share the message of Truth led her to develop multiple classes and workshops which she has taught at Unity churches and in classrooms, non-profit agencies, and business networking groups. In the past several years, she has led group meditations and served as a Sunday speaker at ten Unity churches in five states.

Becoming an ordained Unity Minister is the fulfillment of a nearly lifelong dream for Rev Cindy. At seven years old, she told her mother she wanted to be a teacher or a priest. Raised Catholic, her mother informed her that priest was not an option. Rev Cindy would not be deterred.

She went on to earn a Bachelor of Education degree, but eventually she found that she longed to teach more than ABC’s and 123’s. She then became a certified Life Coach after studying at the Coaches Training Institute and has coached many people through the YMCA and other organizations.

In everything she has done and will do, Rev Cindy lives a life of love and gratitude. Among the things she is most grateful for are her four children, four grandchildren, and her loving and supportive husband, Ken, through whom she welcomed three more children and three grandchildren. Her family serves as a constant source of joy and inspiration.
